Walking and Climbing
There are many beautiful walks in the area, both along the coast and inland, to suit the casual stroller or energetic hiker.  Places of interest along the way include: the cave at Cove, the wreck of the USS William H Welsh, the cave at Sand, Beast Loch and Fionn Loch.

Sightseeing
Loch Ewe and the Torridon mountains offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.  Gruinard Bay and the beaches at Mellon Udrigle and Opinan are not to be missed, with their stretches of untouched sand - magical!  The Benn Eighe nature reserve is nearby.

Fishing
Fishing permits can be arranged for many of the 21 hill lochs on Aultbea Estates and also farther afield (discounts available for National Trust for Scotland members).  A local ghillie is available for hire.
