Built in 1850 as a hunting lodge by the Zetland family to exploit the abundant game and fishing opportunities in the remote and beautiful Western Highlands, Aultbea hotel has been welcoming guests for over a century – other than the years when it was requisitioned during the war! As time has gone by the hotel has evolved to offer eight peaceful ensuite rooms; two restaurant spaces and a lively bar. What has remained the same are the stunning views, the loch lapping at the bottom of the garden and the friendly highland hospitality. Located just north of Inverewe gardens en route to Ullapool this unique location makes the hotel the perfect spot from which to explore the North West Highlands of Scotland. We hope to see you soon!
